The new office space more than quadruples the 1,300sf size of the Summa Health location. The relocation comes as the organization had sought to find a larger, more comfortable setting to deliver patient care. The new office will open December 21, 2021. I believe that good primary care doctors can be hard to come by, and I cherish the relationships I form with my patients. I really enjoy the area, Cleveland is much more my speed than Chicago, and I’ve adopted the Browns as my AFC team (can’t totally turn my back on my Bears). We have a 15 month old daughter who has taught me more than I ever learned during my 12 years of formal education.

In my free time, I like to cook, golf, and read or watch movies. I met my wife halfway through Med school and she was studying at Case Western at the time so that is what brought me to Ohio and Summa Health. I received a masters degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology and then enrolled in medical school at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. I studied English and German literature at Northwestern University while also completing my pre-Med courses, moving to Chicago after undergrad to do research. Both of my parents are physicians but I was the only one of their three kids to go into medicine. I was born and raised in northwest Indiana, about 1 hour from downtown Chicago.

Our office performs electrocardiograms, minor surgical procedures such as skin tag procedures and joint injections, and has a full laboratory and in house phlebotomist. Dy have training in the treatment of patient in the inpatient and outpatient settings including geriatric medicine, cancer screenings, immunizations, routine nonsurgical gynecologic care, and coordination of specialists. Our practice specializes in Internal Medicine, including the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease in patients 16 and older. Dy is married and enjoys gardening, reading, babysitting her niece and nephew and a good pair of shoes. She is also involved in the Women in White Coats mentorship program at NEOMED. She is interested in preventative care and women’s health. Dy is ABIM board certified in internal medicine, an associate professor at NEOMED, and has participated in internal medicine resident education at Akron City Hospital. Jones in private practice after graduation. She attended Youngstown State University and graduated with a degree in chemistry, and graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008, and finished her internal medicine residency at Akron City Hospital-Summa Health System in 2011. Jennifer Dy is originally from Cuyahoga Falls, OH. She is interested in women’s health issues.ĭr. She is married and enjoys spending time with her children and reading. Jones is ABIM board certified in internal medicine, an associate professor at NEOMED, and has participated in internal medicine resident education at Akron City Hospital. She immediately went into private practice at Internal Medicine West after graduation. Jones graduated from Northeast Ohio University College of Medicine in 1998, and finished her internal medicine residency at Akron City Hospital- Summa Health System in 2001. She moved to the Akron area to attend Kent State University.
